My Becker is scheduled to expire this month and I am scheduled to take REG Dec 9th. Should I pay $200.00 to extend my Becker for another 3 months or Should I buy another review course ? I only have roughly 6 weeks to prepare for REG. What is a good review course for passing REG ?

I really (I didn't use it for REG–got it for FAR AND BEC) love the Ninja plus videos. If you have Ninja MCQ, I would just watch the ninja plus lectures and stick with that. They are cheap and really good!!

    AUD (2/16)-84
REG (05/16)-69 Retake (7/16)-79 (ty ninja MCQ)
    BEC-TBD
    FAR-9/8/16

I used Ninja, is this your last part?

    Far 10/26/2015, 64, 1/4/2016, 82
    Reg 7/10/2015, 60, 2/27/2016, 86
Aud, 5/9/2016, 74 (ouch), 7/26/2016, I cannot wait to take this test again
    Bec, 6/10/2016, 70,9/8 retake

@Vanessachy, No this isn't my last part. I took BEC and will be taking AUD at the end of this month. I haven't passed any parts yet.

@CPAWarrior, how much to extend all of them? 200 for each part? I wouldn't expend if it is the last part, since you haven't complete any of them, I would extend them. However, I think Ninja is a great supplement; if you have completed all the REG review with Becker, Ninja is a good choice.

    Far 10/26/2015, 64, 1/4/2016, 82
    Reg 7/10/2015, 60, 2/27/2016, 86
Aud, 5/9/2016, 74 (ouch), 7/26/2016, I cannot wait to take this test again
    Bec, 6/10/2016, 70,9/8 retake

@CPAWarrior, def extend it. Becker is a very good CPA review program.

    Far 10/26/2015, 64, 1/4/2016, 82
    Reg 7/10/2015, 60, 2/27/2016, 86
Aud, 5/9/2016, 74 (ouch), 7/26/2016, I cannot wait to take this test again
    Bec, 6/10/2016, 70,9/8 retake

I have a question, have you studied for all the parts using Becker and not passed? Or are these your first attempts at BEC, AUD, REG.

The only reason I ask, is because if I had already taken multiple tests using Becker and did not pass, I would consider not extending as maybe the Becker program isn't working for me. I bought WILEY CPA and failed multiple tests, then tried the NINJA method and passed all tests on my next attempt. Yes, it felt like I was wasting a lot of money because I ended up not using WILEY anymore, but I got my passes!

    Just something to consider 🙂

I would extend- make sure you do the whole Becker program and don’t skip anything. If you still do not pass, then switch to something else. I have used Gleim and CPA Excel in college before starting my exams, and Becker and Ninja MCQs and notes the last 1.5 years while taking exams. If I don’t pass FAR Thursday, I am going to try Roger Cram for my last shot before anything expires January 31. I did add the Ninja plus vids this time, and I really like them for the money.

I should add, all my scores were from Becker, and Ninja MCQs pushed me over the edge. 3 of the first ones were during immediate family deaths, but the rest were Becker, with Ninja finally getting me where I needed to be to pass.
    Good luck!!!

Since you already have the Becker books which you can use indefinitely, I don't think it's worth it to pay $200 just for access to the Becker videos and MCQ's when you could get those from Ninja for cheaper (unless you think you can pass more than one section before the 3 month window is up, in which case the Becker extension is cheaper). Especially since after the 3 month Becker extension is up you're still going to have to pay for more review materials to pass the rest of your exams.
