I just got out of my BEC exam. My butt hurts immensely. I studied my arse off with Becker and knew things backwards and I got rocked on my last testlet. Besides questions on topics I have blantantly never seen before there were also questions in the other testlets that just looked nothing like anything Becker taught. I am very disappointed.

I used Becker for FAR and AUD (passed both with good scores) and felt they were on topic. BEC however, was just horrible. Everything they asked about COBIT, IT information, among other things were just completely different. It’s like I studied for the wrong test or something. Ive never felt so prepared yet got beat so bad. Writing assignments werent bad but the last 2 testlets were HARD and the 2nd one got me good. Really hoping the 4 questions in each section I had no idea were test questions becaue they were literally a different subject!!!! Anyone else experience this.

@Inferno: Don't stress. My test was crazy, I left the test center dazed and confused. It was the first time I couldn't even recall half the things I was tested on. I wasn't sure that I passed and I got a 92.

So basically if you come out of the exam thinking Becker stunk for this part…you pass with above an 80?

It is funny how most people thought Becker was horrible for BEC, but they passed with an 80% or higher. I have the BEC becker material from mid June 2014, and it seems that both B-2 and B-3 were completely changed. It seems that they really sucked at teaching variance analysis and cost accounting, and I guess they tried to fix it back in Dec. They also changed the intructor since now they have Amy brown instead of Tim. I hope they really fixed the issues they had cause it will suck to go and take an exam that you are not even prepare for after studying for more than two months on material that it was not even tested.
