Hi All, I just took my AUD exam this past Friday and while I found I did learn a significant amount through the Becker Software, I found the MCQ to be much different from those that were on the exam. I found Becker’s to be much more direct and not as analytical as those on the exam. Whenever I took the Progress Tests, I would continuously score in the 80-90% on all chapters yet, when I took the practice tests and the actual exam, they were not similar. The exam questions were much more analytical and required more Profession Judgment? I’m not to sure if that even makes any sense but I’m just wondering if anyone found themselves in this similar situation? If I find I didn’t pass the exam I’ll probably go out and buy the Wiley Book but if anyone has any other suggestion I would greatly appreaciate it because I was very discourage once I finished my exam and for the other 3 parts of the exam.

I've only used Becker thus far and have had good results.

Can I ask how many mcq and how much preparing you did leading up to the exam?

    AUD - 94
    REG - 86

I gave myself 8 weeks to prepare for the exam, about 3 hours each day mon.-fri. after work and anywhere between 5-8hrs/day on the weekends. I worked every HW question and reworked the sections that were difficult a few times. I also did all the optional questions and 2 weeks before my exam I was doing Progress Tests each night along with reviewing notes. I don't know how many questions in total I did but it was well over 1000 maybe into the 2000s. I also did the 2 practice Tests and never scored really well nor really poorly. I've only heard good things about Becker and I'm not trying to bash becker I just felt the MCQ on the exam were as direct as those with Becker.
