Just wondering if anyone has any tips for which sections (in the 2013) Becker are really most important. I’ve heard Becker really emphasizes cost accounting parts and that’s the hardest part for most people but that the actual test doesn’t test it nearly as hard as Becker does. Is there any truth to that?

Focus on the COSO and ERM frameworks and also the IT sections. Those are the heavily tested topics.

This is a hard question to answer since all the test are different………one person may be heavily tested in IT, yet another may only see 3 or 4 questions. There is really no getting around it since you dont actually know what will be tested. I used Becker and thought they did a good job preparing me as in nothing on the exam was out in left field. My exam did have some questions where i was like WTF are they asking, but it was really just how they asked it. Some of these questions can be manipulated in so many different ways you can turn something fairly easy into a WTF question.
