I have Becker 2012 flash cards. Are they any good for review? if so, should I re-wrote or just MEMOrize it.

I used them. I wouldn't say they should be a prime focus but I just found them to be good at making me feel productive when I didn't want to be, like when taking the train to work or even when just having the TV on or something. Wouldn't say there's a need to rewrite or memorize them…

The flashcards are worth going through at least once. I went through each set after completing every chapter, then I would mix them all up and go through the entire stack the day before the exam.

I think they are very useful. I passed FAR, REG, and BEC on the first try by a wide margin. I studied no more than 6 weeks for FAR and REG, and 4 week for BEC. I made sure I had everything memorized on the cards. Additionally, I went through the chapters and made my own cards on information not covered on the cards already. I'd make sure to know them.

    FAR: 84
    REG: 85
    BEC: 83
    AUD: 10/12/12

I've never used flash cards before, but I won a free set of the Becker cards in a drawing and gave them a shot. As they are straight out of the box, I don't think they would have done me much good. Why? Most of the cards are simply too general and ignore the specific stuff that actually gets tested (so what's the point?). But after spending countless hours adding my own stuff to them, I actually came to rely on them very heavily–especially for the last couple of days before the exam. So…if you're willing to mark them up and really make them your own, they can be great; otherwise, not so much.

I spent money on them, lets just say I could live without them. Theyre not terrible, but just dont really know how much they actually helped.

I purchased some for Far and the flashcards were okay. Like David I could have lived without it. I also purchased Wiley focus notes and could have done without it as well. I relied solely on my review course (Roger) for Audit and it was all I needed. I took FAR first and I got so stressed and I thought I needed every CPA product to pass. I should have trusted that my review course was enough to prepare me.
