What is your experience with the final review software that Becker offers?

More specifically, on BEC?

I am debating because I am going to a fast-pass seminar next weekend and am either going to get the full BEC Becker software or going to get the Becker Final Review. Please advise.

I thought Becker's Past Pass used the same materials as it's normal course – just went thru it at lightning speed. No?

I wouldn't depend on just the Final Review – it basically only hits the high points and assumes that you are just doing a final review of subjects you previously studied in depth.

I have used the Final Review product for FAR, AUD, and BEC because I was taking prep classes that required its use. Personally, I don't feel like it helped me tremendously other than giving me some different questions than what I had seen up to that point. I would have rather spent the time I took to go through that working on reviewing the original course and MCQ's. Guess we'll see if it really made a difference as I am not using it for REG but am just going through the regular Becker course on my own without the class this time. Some people swear by it, so it's up to you, but I wouldn't NOT get the regular course and ONLY get the review – not enough material, IMO.

From what I seen, I think Final Review isn't worth the money. I am debating to add Yaeger's CRAM courses into my Becker/Wiley study since Becker's lecture blows. I may also add one of the NINJA products into the mix (most likely notes).

Personally, I advise against the Becker Fast Pass, unless you're very good at absorbing lots of information at once. I know personally start tuning out after a couple of hours. I've never done the final review, but I think that you can do fine with the normal Becker materials (taken at a reasonable pace).

I decided to go with the Online study session for BEC that starts at the end of the month. I am going to give it a try and see how it goes.

I also signed up for the live classes for REG & FAR in 2013. I already feel less stressed having a set schedule. I think having a schedule is the most important thing for me so I do not have to worry about if I am budgeting my time correctly or not. We will see how it goes.
