    Hey,

Has anyone used the Becker final reviews (specifically FAR)? Results? Experiences?

    Thanks

I got it for FAR and only FAR. It was nothing special but I passed so i guess it works. Basically just same structure with shorter lectures and you go over sims and problems together.

    AUD: 02/28/15 - 89
    FAR: 05/29/15 - 80
    BEC: 08/03/15 - 81
    REG: 08/27/15 - 76

I didn't use any of the Becker flashcards or final review. My suggestion, rework the sims, as they require you to know what you are doing, and focus on the way the questions are phrased and keywords in the answers.

    FAR – 7/11/2015 – 79
    REG – 8/7/2015 – 83
    BEC – 8/30/2015 – 89
    AUD – 10/02/2015 – 84

    FAR 7/11/15 - 79
    REG 8/07/15 - 83
    BEC 8/30/15 - 89
    AUD 10/2/15 - 84

A girl I know who barely passed intermediate accounting in college and is not so bright used Becker final review for FAR and passed. So I think it works miracles!

    AUD: 98
    REG: 91
    BEC: 86
    FAR: 83

DONE DONE DONE and DONE all on the first try! It IS possible, just keep on studying!

I used the Becker Final Review for FAR and it helped me pass. There is no secret or technique that the book exposes you to that will magically help you pass the exam. What it does do (and does really well) is consolidate all of the key points and concepts into a condensed book.

Assuming one has already gone through the textbook at least once, the book will help one to wrap his or her mind around the sheer overwhelming amount of content that is present in FAR. In that way it is very beneficial.

I akin it to a last minute study guide that you would review right before your final exam in college. It's like reviewing all of those key concepts and hoping they stick in your brain right before you take this monster exam on. No fluff or tidbits. Just the important stuff.
