With my limited experience, I say take. I know I had some similar questions on my actual exam as I did on the practice exams that I may not have known otherwise for audit but I'm still waiting on that score so we'll see if they helped! Good luck!

I would recommend using them to help pace yourself for a 3-4 hour exam. I would also recommend using it to highlight areas where you need extra study (so don't wait till the day before your exam).

If you score high, don't get too comfortable. If you score low, don't get defeated. In fact, pay very little attention to your overall score and instead focus on going back to your notes and hammering the topics that you didn't score well on.

There's pretty much no correlation between practice exam scores and actual exam scores.

Definitely take them. It helps you figure out the pace on the MCQ. I have only taken FAR practice exams and the SIMs did not take long at all, but on the real exam the SIMS took much longer (about 75min), so keep that in mind.

    AUD 99
    REG 94

Sharp315's advice is spot-on. I recommend taking them to get used to the pacing, but your score means nothing. I finished each of the Becker practice exams for FAR in about two and a half hours and got an 87% on the first one and a 90% on the second one. I went into the exam feeling very confident, and it was 10x harder than the Becker exams. A lot of people say you can expect to score 10 points higher on the actual exam than you did on the Becker exams, but based on my experience, that's not true (still waiting to hear back on my score, but I'm having serious doubts about if I passed).

I'd say allow at least 75 minutes for the SIM section (about 15 minutes per question).
