I am on day 4 of studying for FAR using the Becker self-study materials. Just wondering if anyone had any tips/suggestions for me. I’ve started by viewing the lecture, reading over the book, taking notes, and going thru the mcq’s. I don’t want to simply memorize the answers to the mc so I’ve decided to not do them everyday.

That seems like a silly reason not to do MCQ everyday. There are plenty of them so you don't have to worry about that too much. You'll unfortunately memorize some answers when you go back and do questions, but as long as you also remember the reasoning behind it being the correct answer I think it's ok. It's of course better to do that then to not redo any at all just because you don't want to memorize them. Good luck.

Should have been more specific. I don't want to do them ALL everyday. Plus that would take way too much time. I'm reviewing them each day thru the quizes.

Hi RPCI,

I would suggest to finish the required MCQs before you give yourself the small quizzes. I only say this from my personal experience. When I was studying for BEC last year, I had given myself a million short mini quizzes before doing all of the required HW, and for me I started to memorize the questions, it hurt me in the end! But that's just my experience, I have a mind that memorizes everything!
