Is anyone studying FAR using Becker? The passmaster for lecture 4 has like 25 pages of questions at the end that have nothing to do with the lecture, does anyone know if they are covered in a future chapter?

are you talking about the supplemental questions? I saw there were 93, never opened it…I don't touch the supplemental questions, they usually just make me feel bad about myself lol. I have used Becker for Audit/Reg so far and passed both first time only listening to lectures and doing the regular questions, never did the supplementals or simulations for either section..I did one final exam for Audit (just the MCQ) and didn't do it for Reg, got 7 points higher on Reg…*shrug* I wouldn't worry about the questions that have nothing to do with what u read unless you have a lot of time to study, I'm trying to pound a whole lecture a day (including questions) so I don't like to waste time doing anything that could potentially confuse me and cause me to panic. Good luck to you, I wouldn't stress about those questions.

FAR Chapter 4 Becker Homework Reading goes into great detail about how to use various inventory valuation methods mentioned earlier in the chapter. I would look it over, do the homework problems and if you have trouble understanding a question, the homework reading can help explain it. Honestly, I never learned some of those methods in college and most of them are beyond the scope of the CPA exam, but you never know. Whatever I saw on my exam yesterday from Chapter 4 seemed like fair questions to me. Hope that isn't disclosing too much. Jeff can delete if I crossed the line.
