    Becker Question –

    Hi guys,

I took the FAR practice exams today and yesterday.

    My first exam scores are:

    Testlet MCQ #1 : 80%

    Testlet MCQ #2 : 90%

    Testlet MCQ #3 : 70%

    Stimulation Average 86%

I felt okay when I was taking the first practice but when I took the practice exam2 today, I felt like i didn’t know most of the answers and felt like failing. Here is the scores for practice #2:

    Testlet MCQ #1 : 83%

    Testlet MCQ #2 : 76%

    Testlet MCQ #3 : 57%

    Stimulation Average 81%

any comments on the score? I have my FAR exam in 2 days and I’m freaking out now knowing I did so bad on the practice.

    Any suggestions?

    THANK YOU!

I'm not sure if you're new to A71, or rubbing it in, but by most accounts those are fantastic scores. We've had people who've done similar on Becker PT and went on to post 90's. We've had people who've failed with the very same practice scores. It's a tossup, but everyone agrees that the Becker practice exam is hard.

You should also know that that founder of this site believes you shouldn't take “final exams” because a low score – for whatever reason – can kill your confidence and force you to freak out just days before… kinda like now.

    You're in good shape!

    AUD - 75*, 88 done 5/14! (*exp)
    BEC - 74 , 77
    REG - 65 , 76 (10 point combooo!!)
    FAR - 69 , 75

For FAR and REG I scored in the low 60's on my Becker final exams and I passed both. With those scores you have nothing to worry about.

    REG - 78
    BEC - 74, 67, 69, 69, 70, 79
    FAR - 76
    AUD - 69, 69, 69, 74, 85

hey OP, no need to freak out lol. I'll predict your actual exam score would be in 85 – 99 range.

Thank you all for letting me know that I'm doing okay.

My problem is I don't really have much confidence and Im always in panic mode. I always forget the material that I have studied as I moved on to a new topic. When I did the practice exam, I felt like I didn't really get a good grasp of the material, so I freak out knowing myself getting a 56% in one of the testlets.

My plan now is to know what I did wrong on the practice exams and review my notes until my actual exam on Thursday. Do you guys think it's a good idea or should I do more progressive test?

Those are great scores! I scored in the 70s for the most part and ended up with an 85. You should do very well and reviewing what you did wrong on the practice exams is a great idea to solidify any areas you might be unclear. Best of luck!

    AUD: 72 (4/2013) 74 (10/2013) 81 (1/2014)
    BEC: 84 (7/2013)
    FAR: 73 (4/2013) 85 (7/2013)
    REG: 85 (11/2013)

@cpaluck … what are you worrying about?! Those are fantastic scores. I scored between 68-69% across both final exams for AUD and thankfully passed. I would focus on the areas that give you concern and try to get better at them leading up to your exam day. Good luck and you're going to do GREAT!!!!

    AUD - 01/18/14 - 81
    BEC - 05/29/14 - 85
    FAR - 07/18/14 - 81
    REG - 11/18/14 - 80
