I know this has been discussed many times in this forum, but F2 in Becker has really made me question whether I can be successful in passing FAR. Despite having read the material twice and feeling comfortable with it, I am having a tough time with the practice questions. For those who have taken FAR, are the questions used in Becker similar in difficulty on the actual exam? I sure hope not, because many of them seem obscure and poorly worded.

    REG - 77 (8/27/13)
    FAR - 83 (12/2/13)
    AUD - 87 (5/13/14)
    BEC -

vjr7653, keep your head up. All of us that have used Becker felt the same way through F2. I was getting frustrated at myself (took my anger out on one of those free pens you get at the bank) because I think I scored around a 65% on the MCQs the first time around. Spend 2-3 mins per MCQ and read the answer before you move on. Either you know it or you don't so eliminating choices down to 2 answers and spending 10 more minutes debating which one is right is not efficient. Click on that checkbox that saves that question and try it again tomorrow. Do you really understand the answer now? Study smarter, not longer as most people would say.

I'd have to say the test questions are way more straightforward than the practice MCQs. Out of all the 4 sections I took and passed, I don't think I had any questions longer than 3 lines/sentences unless it was a question that listed items for calculations.

    good luck!

    BEC: 84 (5/13)
    FAR: 91 (7/13)
    REG: 91 (8/13)

^, 65% is actually pretty good for a first run through. Just saying!

50% is pretty common for that section, or was it F3?

Anyway, keep plowing through. Make sure you understand why you got the questions wrong and study the solutions! Don't let it bring you down.
