Does anyone that is using Becker for FAR see something incorrect about the examples on page 23 regarding the acqusition method?

Check Becker's website for updates for your particular software/book edition.

I used 2011 and there are many corrections/updates throughout the book.

I am using 2012 Becker. I checked the Becker website for updates and there are non relating to this page. I had previously used the 2011 Becker. I just now looked at that book and there it is AGAIN on the same page. There are two examples for the date of purchase for the acquistion method. Example 1 date of purchase, stock price goes up (as indicated by the caption and information provided from $10 to 14)) and the instructor says to debit the investment in sub. In example 2, the caption says stock price goes down BUT the caption over the stock prices says stock prices go up. The stock price goes from $10 to $7 so clearly it is going down. However, the instuctor says to DEBIT investment in sub again. I didn't catch this during the lecture, only when I went back and was reading and studying the material. I thought I may have written some information down wrong but upon checkcing the 2011 book, and the two examples are exactly as 2012, I think something is just not right.

Any thoughts?
