Determined CPAParticipantI'm very confused in the study materials you have. How do you have the lectures and books for Becker but not the questions? Aren't the lectures and questions from the same software? If you truly do not have Becker MCQ's then I suggest doing the ninja MCQ's immediately and start familiarizing yourself with the types of questions you will see on exam day.

law0915ParticipantIn the regular Becker course they have extra questions you can do for a fee…assigned HW/Optional/paid optional. Then progress test questions. The only thing you can purchase separately to get MCQ without buying the regular course is the final review MCQ and SIMS. I'm not sure how you can get any MCQ other than final review (purchased separately) without having access to the regular MCQs..Just get through the lectures and then buy NINJA MCQ. You don't really even need the book as they read the book and explain what's in the book to you. Lectures then corresponding MCQ!

law0915Participant@Crunchtime honestly I don't know. I told my friend and she was shocked lol. Having not taken gov't except for a couple weeks in 2008 in my Advanced accounting class I definitely missed those questions and sims my exam. I ran out of time and was too burned out to get through it all. I got comparable on framework and standards and weaker on everything else. Weaker on MCQ and SIMS as well. I've been a financial accountant for close 5 years. Yes, I hammered through EPS and GOVT/NFP (still barely touched (no MCQ and only watched 1/2 the topics) on F10-but I was running out of time again and the other stuff is more important to me)
@drping I had no idea they did that, however, it seems expensive as it is 3.75x more expensive than ninja per section and only 3% of the quantity of questions of NINJA. Personally I only did one Becker research practice question for REG and that was to to learn that it existed in the CPA exam lol. I didn't practice any research for any section. The exam providers are just picking something random and have you dig down into the AL to try and find it. There's no way for them to know what would be asked. You'll just have to get lucky and learn how to search key words. I recommend going to the AICPA website and do the sample exam if you want to practice a research question exactly the way they test it (as Becker mimics it as well). I found the research every time on the exams in passed and on the time I didn't on FAR, I actually wasn't able to find it.
