Becker enough for BEC?

I flipped open my wiley book today and was shocked by the amount of additional finance/management/IT formulas that weren’t mentioned in the Becker book… I am really scared now as my test is coming up.

People told me to read the IT chapter in wiley and I will. Should I worry about all those other crazy formulas?

Please give me some pointers thanks…

Becker should be enough. However, I did use the 1 day free trial of the Wiley Test Bank and did about 200 mcqs. It probably helped me get about 3 more questions on the test correct.

I would study all of the formulas in becker and know your financial ratios and how to back your way into them. The PURE DADS SAD and ABA BSA mnemonics are great for remembering variances. I wrote down all of the formulas and a few mnemonics on a sheet of paper so I could constantly review them.

Becker did a sufficient job on corporate governance and IT. BEC was definitely the hardest of the 3 I've taken

Threads like this are posted often.

You're going to get two perspectives: people who supplemented with other materials and people who didn't.

The people who didn't are usually the most vocal/passionate.

The question is: what do you feel more comfortable doing?

Grab some free supplementary materials (https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-study-plan/) and decide for yourself.

Here are perspectives of those who did supplement: https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-forum/forum/wiley-cpa-test-bank
