My Becker CPA software expired. Partly my fault b/c I never paid attention to the expiration date. So you get 24 mos from date of purchase OR 18 mos from first login. No matter what, it expires 24 mos from date of purchase. I really screwed myself by logging in right away willy nilly to check out the layout etc.
The only extension they will give is a 3 mos one and that is after my 18 mos since I logged in day one. To get this extension you have to have a test scheduled. So my material will expire 21 mos from date of purchase. I don’t understand why it isn’t one expiration date. If you’re smart, get the material but read the books for 6 mos THEN login so you can utilize the full 2 years. Also, if you login day 1 you technically have less time with access to the study material than the AICPA gives you to pass all 4 parts.
They have to realize life gets in the way. I am mid 30s and married. Life happens. So I am currently awaiting a call back from a supervisor and will argue my case to them to see if I can get it extended to 24 mos from my purchase date, which would be Nov. of this year.
After expiration the cost for one section is $565 or $1600 for all 4 parts.
/end rant
