Hey DocHalladay,
Thanks for your response…did you just feel sorry for my little question slipping away with no responses. π
I know it would be wisest to do them all, it is just that I remember how crazy some of the ones were in B5, and it turned out they were way overkill for what I experienced on the actual BEC exam. I ended up thinking my study time would have been better spent on basics in all areas rather than pounding on some of the over-the-top problems in B5, so I was wondering if some of the F8 problems were the same – sort of over the top.
When I decided to do all four sections in six months, I had not started working yet. I started working the day after I took AUD, so my time has been more limited ever since, and I am left with trying to get the best coverage with my limited time…the only other choice I have is to push it to 2011, and I don't want to do that at all.
I generally would do all of the problems 2-3 times too, but I was thinking since this area only counts for between 8-12% of the overall exam, maybe I'd be better served reviewing the basics in all areas rather than eating up a lot of my limited time fighting really tough problems in that one section. I think what I'll do is go ahead and go back over all my other areas first, then depending on how I feel and what time I have left remaining, I'll tackle those. I do plan to take off work the day after Thanksgiving, so I'll have four days off before taking my exam on the Monday after Thanksgiving. Hopefully, I'll be feeling pretty good by then on everything else and will be able to go back in and do those. I just figured, if whitesoxfancpa and florida_candidate came out with 90s without them – maybe they were just too much fluff.
So did you feel that you would have suffered any if you hadn't done those? Wish I were like you – already sitting on the other side of the finish line. Hopefully, I will be soon. π
