Becker Question –

Chapter 4.3

I only can get about 60% right on the 121 MCQ.

This is my second try and I have read the book 2 times.

Is it normal? How you guys handle this Ch. 4.

This chapter is really killing me.

That is about the most G-rated version of how I felt about it.

Back on topic. R-4 was AWFUL!! Becker should consider dividing that chapter up. Professional responsibilities and ethics are a big part of the exam, not to be overlooked.

You know what we all think when we see ancillary readings: yada, yada, yada. I watched the YouTube videos and it helped supplement the reading.

I did the Kaplan online own pace series. They were so dry I had to take up yo-yoing to stay awake literally 10 min in and I was sleeping.

They are so dry it makes reading Wiley's Review books exciting.

They are so dry my plants shriveled listening.

They are so dry I had to run a humidifier, to prevent bloody noses.

They are so dry Planters plays them in the peanut factory as the new dry-roasting process.

They are so dry I use the transcripts to sand down my woodworking projects.

They are so dry playing it on loud speakers would have absorbed Irene for us.

In all honesty, they were least useful part for me in all the sections. MCQs, MP3s, Flashcards, Ninja notes, and these forums.

(yeah I know my sense of humor is prolly as dry ;-P )

I totally agree with you @letsfixthis….i'm going through FAR F2 right now…it's terrible. I really wished Olinto instructed this one. I liked how he did random videos explaining how it reallllly is a lot of material and we would get through it. it was reassuring during stressful times. Yet, Gaerty goes way too fast for examples, literally just reads off the answer from his notebook, you can tell word-for-word. Also, I hate how he makes you highlight every single sentence in a 4-line paragraph. What exactly is the point of that? With FAR being the exam with the most info., what is the point of highlighting all 24/25 lines on a single page?!

Glad to see the criticisms of Gearty on here. Whenever I point out how useless I find his lectures to be, I always get people rushing to his defense. Having now completed all of the FAR and AUD lectures, I can say with certainty that the ONLY time I found him to be even mildly useful was in A5, and even after that my HW scores from his sections were less than I wanted them to be.
