Why does this Becker jerk skip several pages at a time during the lecture?

    It’s so damn irritating.

he's the worst teacher at Becker by far…………. Peter Olinto should instruct all of BEC. I Hate to tell you this but……… you will see him again at B-4!!! (I know the feeling)

very nice Florida Candidate! I already went through the lectures and questions once and the book twice. Today I took the Gleim Practice test for BEC and Scored 86.7%, I wonder if that's enough to pass or i got lucky

If you got a 86.7% on Gleim's Online final exam, you are good to go!

I found him very annoying in BEC 2, but I don't HATE him in BEC 4. The thing that annoys me most about him is Becker FAR had me so trained to have the highlighter in one hand and the pen/pencil in the other for the lectures… this dude rarely uses the highlighter… Gearty would be mad to find out that this dude doesnt' highlight 85% of the page.

But then you switch from this dude back to Olinto and he has you double-fisting again. This guy's teaching style (read the material to you) doesn't fit with Olinto and Gearty. I thought though (to compliment him) his B4 examples (Microsoft, IBM) were very helpful. All of his side-bars (where you stop looking at the material and just listen) were helpful in B4. Not so much in B2.

So yes, we share your frustration! I feel like I'm cheating on Gearty and Olinto… and I'm slummin it.

He may skip so much of B2 because the chapter is so long and it is only worth about 10% – bet they limited his time a lot!

For me Econ was always a subject that seemed pretty dry.

    Good luck!

I took to highlighting most of what he had you underline. He is a bit dry, but the lecture does illustrate the material well, even if the material is very dry.

I found him more annoying in the IT lecture (BEC-4), but I'm a bit of a computer guy and the way some of examples are a bit dated bothered me.

Florida Candidate, you got a 99 on AUD? Holy smokes, I remember you finished early, but that's amazing. That's the highest score I have ever seen. Does anyone score above 100? Some of the scores on this site are amazing, I always thought my scores were high, but that is astronomical. Didn't you cry during FAR? I hate to see how you do when you are laughing! Just kidding. Hearty congratulations on an amazing score. On BEC (since that is the easiest section), I fully expect to see you get that 100. Some of you have to submit to your state boards to recognize as historical high performers. I think there is recognition for that, and worth putting on your credentials. My average is high, but won't cut the all-time high scorers watermark. You guys should check that out.

    Joey J,

There is no 100. A 99 is the highest possible score.

My goodness. Okay, 99 it is. WhiteSoxFan, Potatogun, and Florida Candidate should all inquire about the all-time high scorer list. I know it's not humble to say that, but that is impressive. Maybe it's not your priority, but you should check it out anyway. I know how tough this exam set is, and the studying for it is even harder. Lots and lots of materials. To nail it like that is fun to watch. There are two groups that intrigue me the most: 1) people who get ridiculously high scores and 2) people who get lower scores and take several attempts to pass each section. The former is pure genius, the latter is tenacity in the highest order. Both are very impressive and admirable attributes.

I'm much more impressed by those who continually fail yet keep at it. That requires a ton of patience and perseverance. To get scores in the 90's is great and I'm proud of it, but I'd be more proud to say I failed several times, kept at it and eventually passed.

As far as the all-time high score list, I think there have been people to get combined scores in the high 380's and 390's. If I get contacted by the AICPA, then I'll go with it, but I highly doubt it. My scores are high, but not extremely rare high.

Anyway, thanks, I appreciate your words!
