I was wondering how well the Becker review materials stack up against the actual. I am taking Bec next Friday. I’ve been doing all the questions on cpareviewforfree.com and those questions are way different than Becker’s. So far, Becker was spot on with Aud for me and the Far exam was completely different than the Becker materials. Any advice?

Interesting, the Becker materials were “spot on” for the FAR exam I just took. Havent gone through the BEC stuff yet.

You know, it must be the luck of the draw. I felt that the Far exam asked too many pinpoint questions. You know, the specific how-the-hell-was-I-suppose-to-remember-that-exact-detail type of questions. Far is an ocean of material and they were asking me to name the sediment at the bottom of the ocean

I used Becker for BEC on 5/31 and passed with a score of 84. I thought Becker did an excellent job. I did go through the Wiley book and did about half the MCQ. That was a waste of time. The Wiley material was either very similar to Becker or was not at all on my exam.

I did notice something odd. I had 4 MCQ on my BEC exam that I had never heard of the concept. I am now studying for REG and Becker has an entire section of one chapter devoted to that topic.

I used Becker and my BEC exam was a piece of cake.  I actually enjoyed taking it.  The Becker materials are dead on.  I never could master the OH variances though. 

FAR was a little different – way too much material IMO.  Still the same as becker materially (hence the fact that I passed) but different enough to throw you for a few loops.

FAR - 71, 80
REG - 82
AUD - 78 - Passed! Done!
