Becker BEC final exams realistic?

I finished both of Becker’s BEC finals, and did poorly on them both…. They’re killing my confidence going into the BEC exam. I scored an average of 72% on the first & a 69% on the second 🙁

I had to move fast on these exams and pretty much had to guess on some long M.C. questions in order to finish on time. And it was rather annoying with tons of the M.C. asking to read statements and pick the correct ones. Those can take a lot longer than regularly picking A B C D.

Did anyone have time management issues with BEC? How hard was the real exam compared to Becker? Are the actual calculations on the real exam more simplier than Beckers?

Becker is usually always more difficult. If you got about 70% then you should be fine as long as you understand why you got answers correct and why you got them incorrect.

On my first BEC final I got 76,80,76 on my second I got 80,73,73.

I did have about 15 miniutes extra for the actual exam(I did feel very rushed on the practice exams too) and the questions I thought were a bit simpler.

    AUD 89
    BEC 84
    FAR 87
    REG 94!! ALL DONE

In my opinion they are much more difficult, but definitely help narrow down to you weaknesses

If you understand why you miss the ones you miss, the actual exam should be pretty easy…fact patterns aren't nearly as ugly as Becker's stuff…so, know why you got them wrong and learn from that experience instead of worrying about time limits. BEC is the only exam I've finished so far with time left over – about 1/2 hour. Becker BEC questions take FOREVER to even finish reading, much less picking out all of the essentials…but if you understand the concepts behind them, you should do fine.

Like others said, you will be more than FINE!

I did worse than you on those pre-test but still passed!

Though my exam calc was not any simpler than Beckers'.

In fact, I thought BEC was really tough!

    FAR: 73 errr, 81(11/29/2010) woo hoo~
    BEC: 75 (10/02/2010)
    REG: sometime in FEB 2011
    AUD: sometime in APR 2011

My scores were mostly in the 60s on the practice exam for BEC and maybe even a little lower for FAR. You should be fine, the IT ?s are nothing like the practice exam though.

I finished with more than 30 minutes left in BEC compared to the practice exams with 5-10 left.

    FAR 10/18 - 81 | BEC 10/26 - 83 | AUD 11/29 - 80
    REG 02/28 - 71, MULLIGAN 05/19 NTS 4503

just got out of BEC…. I feel like it could go either way really. There were several questions that I wasn't really prepared to answer. I guess BEC questions can come out of nowhere!

Does BEC get curved at all? or is it straight up getting 75% correct?

I also just got out of BEC and feel the same way. I feel I could be right on the fence of pass/fail, too. I also felt there were questions that I was not ready for. Hoping for a nice curve and some lucky guesses.

    FAR - 81
    AUD - 91
    REG - 85
    BEC - 80
