Hi guys,

I am taking the exam Nov. 20 and I just took the first final exam for Becker (Audit) and the following are my results. Is this performance pretty average / what should I be focusing on as my study methods for the week before my exam. I am only using Becker + NINJA Notes. Can anyone also explain how to use the authoritative material during the sims? I am completely clueless on how to use that to help with the simulations.

I'm not a huge fan of the Becker practice exams. I used them for Audit and after that stopped really putting much time into them. I would not get discouraged with your scores on those, but definitely use them to learn from your mistakes.

For your final week, I'd recommend doing MCQ's like crazy. I love using the progress tests as a way to keep the material fresh as I go through my final review of each chapter. For instance, Audit has 6 chapters if IIRC, so I'd do a 30 question progress test from Ch 2, 40 question test from Ch. 3, 50 after Ch. 4….etc.

I found it kept topics fresh and also allowed me to identify weak areas. I'd go back into the textbook and re-read the lecture for anything I was having trouble with. Hope this helps and good luck.

Hey emu13,

Thanks for those suggestions I will have about 5 days off work before taking AUDIT down so I will definitely try to get all the concepts down. Do you have any suggestions for simulations? I think those are my weak area.
