    Hey,

I am taking audit on December 5th, and I started studying last week, I was wondering if you think I have enough time to study everything and pass?

I am using Becker and I already finished A1 and A2. I’ve done pretty well on all the MC, so far, getting in the 80s for everything.

I know it’s not a lot of time to study but I am starting work in Jan. and I don’t want my NTS to expire so I figure I might as well take it.

I’ve heard that A3 and A4 are the most important areas, should I be focusing in on that?

If anyone can give me some advice on this, that would be greatly appreciated. I am getting really nervous and worried for my exam.

    Thanks guys!

Also, I’ve heard that you can use the authoritative literature to help you out on the simulations, does anyone know how that works?

It took me a couple weeks before I got the hang of A3 & A4. I'm not saying it isn't possible but those sections definitely require a lot of careful studying so that you can understand all the different transaction cycles, especially for someone like me who has never had any real experience with audit.

Good luck though. If your NTS is expiring you might as well give it a shot.

If you are studying fulltime (40+ hrs/week) it's definitely doable. Also, if you have prior auditing experience that can go a long way. I would definitely leave some extra time for A3 and A4. Sampling is covered in A5 which some also find confusing. After that it's just a hodge podge of topics that are more straight forward. I would also try to set aside a minimum of 25-40 hrs. of pure review once you have finished the initial run through of the material. Don't know if that was helpful at all, but good luck!!!

    REG - 86
    FAR - 80
    BEC - 79
    AUD - 92...I'm done woohoo!

I only got through A1 and A2 as of the beginning of November, watch A3 and A4 the weekend of November 6th, took AUD on November 13th and scored an 88. I crammed for four days before the test, I think its doable.

    FARE--78
    AUDIT--88
    REG--81
    BEC--75

    DONE!!!!
