After taking the first Becker Final Exam earlier today, I scored a 59%. I am taking the AUD section in exactly one week and I am concerned if I will be prepared enough. Any suggestions on moving forward with studying?

Woah, thats a bit low. Its been a year and when I took the practice test my score was either high sixties or low seventies, dont remember which. I did end up passing but 59 seems a bit low. My experience taking audit was that some of the questiosn were literally word for word like the ones found in becker.

Suggestions? Work the problems and keep working them.

ma221- I would say keep going through the multiple choice questions. I'm retaking audit in 4 days and I keep getting hung up on silly details as well. I am re-doing all of the Becker questions and sims in each section and writing down the problems that I get wrong. It seems to help the details stick The good news is that I now have a summary of my problem spots on paper to review versus looking at a giant audit book.

Don't put too much weight into the final exams. I got in the 60s on FAR and passed and I got in the 80s on AUD and failed

ma221, I'd suggest trying to identity your weakest areas and drill down on those a bit by going back and reviewing the lectures, books, or your notes. If you don't see any one or two topics that are really bringing you down, then just keep working the MCQs, like novatrek86 and auslaf said. You should especially focus on the questions you get wrong and WHY you got them wrong. And don't forget about the sims, of course 🙂
