    Hello aspiring CPAs!

    I just had a question!

So I couldn’t stand Tim Gearty so I decided to buy RogerCPA review course.

Could I watch Roger’s videos and practice Becker M/C questions?

    Thanks so much guys!!!!

I wonder the same thing. Tim is so hard to listen to and he talks so freaking fast. I've gotten to where I learn solely from getting the multiple choice questions wrong and going back to the book to figure out why and writing the solution down. The lectures where Tim is leading don't do much for me. I just completed pensions and income taxes and, let me tell you, I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what the man was trying to say.

Tim and Peter's stupid jokes give me a little laugh when I'm grinding through the lectures so they're alright for me but you could definitely (and I think: should) do MCQ from multiple software platforms. I use Becker, Wiley, and Ninja for MCQ and they all seem to be very similar but each one will throw something at me I hadn't already seen.

Some people get 99's just with Becker though. They aren't human.

Absolutely. It's exactly what I did. As long as you have access to both, it never hurts to be exposed to a variety of MCQs and SIMs

Just3Letters Should I then just study RogerCPA and constantly do ninja FAR MCQ? I already invested so much money on RogerCPA so I figured ninja MCQ for $47 ain't that bad haha. Becker was provided by my company but I HATE HATE IT. When I do the mc questions for becker I either do 2-4 of them and take a nap.

CantStopWontStop So you did all the Becker m/c questions + Roger m/c questions? You did all the optional multiple choice questions for becker too, correct? Thanks for all the help guys!!!

    jslo,

My method which has worked on one test so far is to do all of the Becker MCQ in each section and then do the WTB questions. Last two weeks in my final review I do Ninja MC because it adapts to show your weak areas. No point in doing Ninja first because (at least if you are me) everything is a weak area. I try to be in 70s Becker/Wiley by time I start Ninja.

    Hope that helps!

@jslo123 not sure what you mean by optional questions in Becker. I always went to the cumulative review portion of the questions and did 30 to 50 at a time. All MC for Roger too.
