For anyone that is using Becker for FAR, did you find that any of this stuff was tested when you took the exam? I take FAR August 31 and really havent studied the ancillary info much.

I'm going through the becker material for the first time right now and I'm also not paying too much attention to the ancillary material…mostly because I'm having a hard enough time trying to digest all the regular material much less worry about the ancillary. Hopefully on my second go around through the course I'll be able to focus more on it. According to Becker it is on the exam, but you have a lower chance of getting a question on it than the regular material. Every test is different so whether it has shown up on other person's exams isn't going to be relevant to you.

I'm kind of disregarding the ancillary too, I just don't have time for it and there's a ton of material as is. My thinking is the questions should cover it well enough but I could be wrong. I'm only on F-2 and I have 3 weeks aahhh lol I might not even get through all the regular material let alone the ancillary.

I ignored most of it except the ones they specified to do (eg – dollar value LIFO) but did read through it (all) the last couple of days before the exam.

I didnt even look at the ancillary material for FAR. Best decision ever. Saved me a ton of time.
