I noticed there are two topics in Becker A2 (audit chapter):

– Compilation and Review of Financial Statements (pre-June 2011)

&

– Compilation and Review of Financial Statements (post-June 2011)

I’m about to start studying to 2nd one, since it’s June already lol, and I am probably taking AUD in August. Has anyone studied this new thing yet? how was it?

Well Jeff said that it hasnt changed so I dont think we need to study it.

The 2011 Becker material says to study the second version of the material if you plan to sit after June 2011…

I sit in July, so I assume this applies to me and is what I have done. I emailed and called Becker earlier this week and they are supposed to notify me to confirm, but I have not yet recieved a response, very frusterating…

I will follow up as soon as I recieve an answer.

I'm studying the new material, I sit in July too. It doesn't look drastically different but I assume that the new material still applies otherwise we would have heard something. Let us know what you hear though

I flipped through the pre-June 2011 (since I am taking AUD in July) and from what I can see, it's the exact same chapter, just with some slight differences. I would study the July stuff and go from there.

Starting fresh in 2010 w/Becker!

Can't change the past but I CAN make the future.
DONE - 6/8/13. After 6 LONG YEARS.

My Becker instructor said that the software is correct and you are supposed to study the “post-June” material if that is when you are taking the exam…
