In Becker 2014

I see under “Further Audit procedure” —> Test of Details and Subsequent Analytical Procedure

but later in A4 I see another heading “Analytical procedure”.. is there a difference btw “Subsequent Analytical Procedure” and just “Analytical procedure”… sorry it may be a dumb question!

I don't have any other links to share… I just googled what we were discussing and figured the PCAOB was a good source. 🙂 It looks like you can search within the site for clarification of other topics.

As for a solid knowledge of Auditing… I'm a little scared. I start to feel confident and then some little detail unravels my whole understanding! 3 more weeks of review to go…

Need another Clarification:

I was going through the AICPA guidelines for Audit, its says the GAAS will not be tested any more starting Jan 2014…but while going throught A1, they mention GAAS… is becker book not upto date then? Beginning in 14Q1, the extant standards will no longer be tested on the CPA Exam. The clarified U.S. Auditing Standards (AU-Cs) will remain eligible for testing.

Can anyone tell me… what is the difference between the “Report on Comparative F/S” on page Becker 2014 A1-45 Vs. “Report on Comparative F/S” on page Becker 2014 A2-55
