Hi everyone. I purchased the 2014 Self Study materials from Becker because I anticipated taking the exam in January 2014. I see their website says November is when they will be released, but does anyone know from past history when in November they will be released (early, mid, late)? This will effect when I need to schedule the exam. I have tried contacting Becker but they have been unhelpful with pinpointing a date and also added to my stress because they said there will be changes to BEC in 2014. They cannot point me to the list of changes because they have not been “released” yet. I’m trying to decide whether to switch my order to 2013 materials.

So my two questions are: When do 2014 materials for Becker normally ship? And has anyone heard of what changes will come to BEC/have a link to where the changes are?

Do this:

Study your 2013 material until the new stuff comes out and then study the new stuff. It will be some additions, not some complete overhaul or something.

Thanks for your input – one more question I'd like to bug you with – would buying the 10 point combo for BEC be a good way to study while waiting for my main review course to arrive? I know you say to supplement NINJA materials with your main study course but I will feel super guilty if I do nothing for 2 or 3 weeks!

Well, I am very biased, but yes 🙂

Many people will read a ninja section – and then watch their lectures and it makes more sense.

You can't get that time back it would be a great way to finish up your exams strong.

I hear a lot of positive things about NINJA materials all over the forum so I will probably end up doing that after I take REG. Since it comes with 1 month of Wiley that will be the perfect amount of time until Becker decides to get its act together. Thanks for all the guidance!
