Friends I was wondering that just Becker 2014 for Audit is enough or do I have to aid my studies with some other stuff as well?

Is there anyone here who have passed Audit exam with just studying with Becker?

Do not want to take chances so need some advice…

I'd supplement with the ninja combo – I found it very helpful!!

I used just Becker to pass audit and felt that all the topics were covered nicely. MCQ's over and over is what put me through. Saw many repeats of questions from Becker that were on the test almost word for word. A very nice feeling come test day! But as @Determined CPA said, a Ninja Combo wouldn't hurt. I just bought the combo for REG to go along with my material.

I used only Becker for all sections. Becker is not enough to “learn” the material, but is sufficient for a “review”.

I think, for most people, which review course(s) work best will depend on how familiar you are with the material/how long ago you were in school/how you learn/etc.

For people recently out of school (maybe <2 yrs), most review courses should be sufficient since mostly its a review of things you have seen before, with a few new topics.

I only used Becker, but I will say having studying FAR after my first fail AUD attempt really helped me understand the material better the second go around. Since you already passed FAR I would say Becker alone should suffice. Good luck!

I agree with fuzzyfro, becker is more than enough if you already have some exposure to the material. Three weeks of studying was sufficient for me but I had a great audit professor in grad school.

I think Becker was more than enough for Audit. Everything I saw on the actual exam was represented very well in Becker, except for some FAR information, like others have mentioned.

That being said – NINJA Audio is a great supplement if you can afford it, it really helps solidify everything that Becker goes over. Good luck on your exam!

@ChiBlender36 what did you do differently to study for your audit retake? I used Becker and made a 71 on my first attempt, but I knew I had some weak areas. The fail is still a shock for me and I am trying to figure out if what I was doing before is enough. I am thinking of supplementing my Becker review with the Wiley test bank.

I think Becker material is enough for CPA exams as I used it only and passed all sections of CPA exam. I got 93 for audit at the first try. I saw same MOQs on Becker during exams. Key points when I learned was to understand the goal of each audit step.
