Is the Becker 2010 FAR book applicable to taking the 2011 exam. I understand there is the addition of International, but I do have a separate study guide for that. I guess my question is, is the rest of the content on the 2010 guide still applicable for 2011? Is there anything else missing (other than IFARS)? Is it that outdated?

I don't think that much has changed as far as material covered except IFRS but check the latest CSO and for ASC updates were issued up thru the end of 2010 if you're taking FAR within the next test window. Wiley issued a book about 2011 changes for all the exams. It's not great, but it's cheap and will give you some guidance re the changes. The biggest change is the format of the SIMS. I know you don't have a lot of money but I'd highly recommend using a test bank. You can get Wiley thru this site for $77 or Gleim for about $50. I used Wiley for FAR and really liked it, but I've also read a lot of good things about Gleim.
