I saw on here earlier someone talking about how they had 10 page summaries for each Becker chapter, and now I cant find that thread. Where do I find those? I’m doing Becker online.

Last I heard, Becker doesn't allow student notes to be distributed per their user license.

I must have misunderstood– I thought they were summaries that were included as part of the Becker program itself, not an individual's personal notes. Maybe they were the final review. I only have the regular program.

sarah210, what do you mean when you are saying that you are doing Becker online? Do you have the course disc? On the actual course disc, there is a section where it says “class notes” and it's a summary of each chapter. I would think the online course had this as well.

Class notes! Yes! That is what I'm looking for. When I ordered becker, they mailed me a box with the books, a software disc, and 1 disc for each section, but pretty much the entire course is online as well. I actually have just been doing the homework, lectures, etc. on the website, but I will definitely look on the discs. Thank you so much!

I've just typed my own for each chapter. It forces you to re-read the material and think about it more. Plus its WAY better to have 8-10 Page notes printed out than reading 50 pages of dry text for each chapter.

Saves so much time and re-reading the notes is much easier.

@Mrs300 – I have the Becker discs and I am not seeing “Class Notes” anywhere. Can you please tell me where you see this? Is it on the 2012 version, or do you have the 2011 version? I know there have been some changes in the software between last year and this.

@momto5 – I had the 2011 version. I googled it and there was another blog that said they don't think Becker has them on the 2012 version. I can't access my Becker software at the moment because it expired. 🙁

I never had access to the final review.

In my experience, I read through them once for FAR (not the other sections), but they were too bare bones. They were more topics than they were notes and had very little detail. My guess is that it may be why Becker did away with them in the 2012 version.

@Sarah10 If you're referring to the chapter summaries, don't worry you are aren't missing much. They are by no means a substitute to reading the chapters, trust me, I tried only reading the summaries and just doing the MCQs and I kept bombing all the questions lol. So yeah, just read the chapters.

Thanks for all the replies. I emailed my instructor, and the class notes have been discontinued for 2012 becker. Glad to know I'm not missing much. I obviously didn't used them for my first two becker sections and passed. I'm just thinking I could use all the help I can get with FAR. I have the ninja notes for FAR, which are much better anyway from what it sounds like.

@Sarah If you need more help with FAR, I suggest get the Wiley test bank and NINJA notes. Those two supplements are good AF.

the ninja notes were SO HELPFUL for FAR. I printed them out and added anything that the ninja notes didn't cover.
