BEC – Becker (chapter) 5, Budgeting / variances vs Wiley (Yeager)?

From what I have gathered, Becker 5 does a terrible job. With Yeager explaining the material better and the questions being much more like what you expect on the exam. With Becker’s questions too much in detail. Is this accurate?

I’m personally getting confused on Becker 5 variances/budgeting… and think using Wiley/Yeager on this chapter is better.

    Thoughts? Suggestions? Tips?

    Thanks!

If you have access to yaeger then definitely use it for variances. Cindy Simpson has a great way of teaching it that is easy to remember

I totally agree that Cindy explains variances SOO much better

One more question, how “difficult” are variances on the actual exam? It seems to me that Becker questions and Wiley questions are very different. Wiley being more simpler. Thanks
