neika822ParticipantGeneral consensus on the forum is that B2 (and B3) suck. Both chapters just SUCK.
Keep on swimming! B4-6 are better and should give you a little confidence boost (at least it did for me). Keep on working those MCQs (or come back to them if you're getting truly frustrated), but you'll get there! I'm just starting to.
R - *77*(02/'13)-Becker & NINJA
A - 71('11); *87*(04/'13)-Becker & NINJA
F - *76*(08/'13)-Becker & NINJA - "server upgrade" survivor
B - 60('11); *82*(10/'13) -Becker & NINADONE, DONE, AND DONE.

neika822ParticipantDo you feel comfortable moving onto the next chapter and coming back to B2 at a later point? I find that when I'm getting frustrated, it's harder for me to sit down and study (and consequently procrastinate). I give myself one evening to do questions, and then move onto the next chapter the next day. At the end of the week, I'll try to catch up on the questions I missed previously.
Good luck!

gbesteMemberI dunno.. I will probably just break up with my GF, stop eating, get fired from my job, and grow a beard in the next month and a half while I study for this.. I thought BEC was going to be little less taxing..

futureCPA12ParticipantJust keep reworking the questions until you have the methods memorized. I still have trouble with some of the questions, especially the variance stuff. Praying that they ask the cost accounting in simpler ways on the exam.

Lol! The break up and getting fired might actually help since they will give you more time to study. Stopping eating and the beard – okay, I suppose that also gives you more time although the stopping eating part will backfire fairly quickly.
Sorry, don't mean to make light of the ordeal, I know it's really discouraging when you feel like you totally don't get a topic. For what it's worth I think 99% of us feel that way about some of the topics. I certainly did. Your scores are great! Clearly you know how to succeed in these exams and you'll succeed in BEC.

ZaqParticipantI'd wager 8/10 people here went through the exact “WTF” moment that you're going through right at this very moment, gbeste.
The key to passing BEC (and most of these exams) isn't just mastering the material, but rather surviving it. Especially on your first run through.
Watch the lectures. Read the material. Go through the practice exercises. Do the homework. Get them wrong. TAKE NOTES. Then move on to the next section.
When you really think about it the concepts are not impossible to wrap your ahead around it. It's simply all the information coming in at once that becomes overwhelming. Piecemeal your exercises and take it one step at a time.
FAR: 50, 76!
REG: 74... (ouch baby, very ouch), 76!
AUD: 65, 91!?
BEC: 80! Aaaand doneskies!May 2012 to August 2013. Can't believe it's over.
