    Hey,

I just completed my first BEC practice exam. Not sure how people score them but I got

    T1 91%
    T2 87%
    T3 67%

That is 82% overall but 70% is the score is multiplied by 85%. The 15% I did not count for the writing assignment. Anyways, from what I read on Becker practice scores, this looks promising for the real one. What are your thoughts about the result and how you define the score. Multiply by 85% or not?

You should be good to go!

My two friends who passed BEC on the first try they both failed Becker BEC practice exams and one them even scored 55% when she averaged it out but scored a 77% on the real test. My other friend scored in the 60's and passed with an 82. From looking at your previous exam scores you seem to have this down pack!

I am doing terrible on the quizzes and I feel like reading Becker book is pointless but I am only on chapter 2

Thank you mylifeisover. I appreciate the feedback. I can tell you that BEC is like studying for 6 different exams. I did not care for the lecturer on Cost and Economics. The others were ok. Part of the problem is that there are questions that are not covered at all in the materials and a handful of others that contradict what the book taught. I did not think much of the book until I started doing my final review. Make sure to write out all of the formulas and ratios. Don't worry about memorizing them all now but refer back to them regularly. Keep them in short term memory so review them right before the exam.

Ive heard mixed things about using Becker and other supplemental material. Most people at my work said that Becker gives too much information and the queations are actually harder on Becker MCQs. Not sure how true this is to everyone else.

BEC practice exams I got between 71-73, assuming that I scored a 100% on the WC. Actual score on the exam was an 81.

    You are absolutely good.

I scored 61 on both practice exams (not including writing) and still got an 83 on the actual BEC.

Thank you @EWC115. I will take my 2nd practice exam this weekend. I heard that one is considerably more difficult but I am fine tuning this week. Congratulations on passing all four!

You're solid. I am a firm believer in the Becker bump. I've never scored higher than 70s on any practice exam, and even in the 60s for REG. Becker questions are considerably harder than the exam, in my opinion, but only to the extent that you're tested on the same topics or types of questions. If you get a curve-ball thrown at you on the exam, you're on your own to see if you can correctly interpret or apply what you've learned.

12/10, my friend. How about you?

I'm actually hoping for one of those COSO/IT/Econ/Budget tests… I've been averaging 80+ on MCQ the first go-around for all of those categories (still have B-6 to go in Becker), but B-3 is absolutely KILLING me. I'm pretty sure I averaged about 50% on those MCQ the first time through.

12/5 this Monday. I am fine tuning this week. Re-reading a few more sections, another practice exam, I already made up flashcards of all of the ratios and formulas. They have already proven helpful. I still have to look over the writing section more to practice form. No way to tell what the information will be that they ask but I can work on the form. I did pretty well on B3 but I it needs regular maintenance. IT worries me.
