I’m studying for the AUD section of the CPA exam and I’m currently using Becker. I feel that I have the MCQ’s down, but I’m struggling with the simulations. I feel that some of the audit simulations (especially the AJE ones) come straight from the FAR textbook. Are the Becker audit simulations comparable to the actual exam? I feel some of the Becker simulations are pretty hard, and I want to gauge and see where I stand on the simulations in comparison to the actual exam.

I didn't do any Sims in Becker and I passed. From what I remember There was all types of different type of questions on the Sims.

Audit sims are not like Becker. I initially took AUD in Q1 studying with Becker , and had not took the AICPA sample. I kicked myself after-the-fact, when I saw AICPA sample SIMs. It could have made a difference in my score from fail to pass as one of the SIMs was very veryyy close. For review courses, I believe SIMs are really just a great way to bring concepts together as a whole, but not a great representation of actual SIMs.
