Becker’s Ch. 10 is a lot of miscellaneous topics.

Anyone skip this chapter and still pass?

I’m running out of time and would feel more comfortable knowing the other 9 chapter topics more thoroughly. But, maybe that’s not a good idea?

FAR - 86 - 2/27/14
AUD - 75 - 5/29/14
BEC - 80 - 8/31/14
REG - 89 - 2/27/15

I skipped estate taxation and passed REG. Though this topic was featured on the exam, I was able to leverage the AL. I had real trouble with chapter 4 in AUD, and I got peppered with questions. I passed, thought just barely.

If you're going to “skip it” take the time out to simply walk through pass keys or the illustrative examples. pass on the hwk. but get those main ideas down.

I did not have as much time to review Chapter 10 as I would have wanted, however there are topics in there which you should have down solid:

-partnership accounting

-bonus calculation B = %(NI-B) or something like that

AUD - 75*, 88 done 5/14! (*exp)
BEC - 74 , 77
REG - 65 , 76 (10 point combooo!!)
FAR - 69 , 75

1. Play nice or don't play at all.

2. Just because candidate A had *** quantity of questions on XYZ topics on FAR does not make any difference as to what you will see. I don't recommend skipping or “light coverage” of anything in your text because that's how you get wind up with a 74 on FAR. Trust me, I know from experience! 😉 My review materials covered the “Chapter 10” topics in detail and I suggest that you do too!

3. Disclosing what you were tested upon or not tested upon IS a disclosure violation. Again, disclosure is pointless and only creates problems for yourself and especially so for Jeff as the owner of this site. We all know the rules, so let's abide by them please and thank you!
