    Hi AUD
I have read the Becker’s back to back and doing HW which are too many.I have also done Ninja’s MCQ. Last time I got 70 and it’s my nightmare thinking about less then 75 again.I am wondering if any of you passed AUD with Becker’s MCQ only.I have also read Roger’s book and did lot of notes.Just want 75.Any tips to bump up 6 marks would be appreciated.

I did, but mind you I hate AUD and I had totally thought I had failed. Most of my SIMS in exam were lucky guesses. I ended up with a 76. To this date I never understood Chapter 4. I think is a matter of luck as well.

A lot of people have passed using just one review course. I think we all get hung up on the idea that we need to supplement and in the end we have way too many review materials and feel overwhelmed. Another ting to note is that all review courses get their questions from the same place. The differentiating factor is usually the layout. I like how Ninja MCQs are laid because I can do 30 questions at a time. Anything more than that I start to get antsy and just want to get done.

My rule of thumb is I have to go through my main review course's testbank at least 2 times before I start thinking about getting another testbank. Also I make sure that I am putting in quality studying and not just focus on getting through all the questions in the testbank. Do I truly understand why the wrong answer is wrong and why the correct answer is correct.

    AUD - 73, 72 retake 7/2/2016
    BEC - 8/20/2016
    REG - TBD
    FAR - TBD

I am so ready for this nightmare to be over. Been at this way too long.

I think Becker was great for Audit and it was all I used.

NNA: do you feel Becker covered REG well. I noticed you used Ninja as well. Not planning to purchase any supplement being I barely I have enough time to cover Becker.

@Goingallin – that was always my issue. I never had time to supplement with anything. Becker took a lot of time in itself. About to get back into studying myself and just do not see where I am going to find the time to use the NINJA products I have already purchased.

My friend never worked in audit, learned english only few years back, and used Becker to pass audit, scoring 93 so yeah Becker is enough

Becker is MORE than enough to get a 75.

I can almost GUARANTEE if someone only used Becker, and studied like they ARE SUPPOSED TO, they would pass every time.

Another71 is full of candidates that think they are studying enough or they are studying correctly but they are not.

It takes A LOT OF TIME folks. I sound like a broken record but the CPA test is not an IQ test. It's a test of discipline. If you are not willing to sacrifice things in your life, the CPA will eat you up and spit you out.

Using multiple materials I believe is not a good idea if you ask me. Why would you want to hear Tim Gearty tell you a mnemonic, then that crazy Roger guy tell you a different one, then a Ninja dude tell you something also different.

As long as you have good materials (from a stealthy kung fu expert dressed in black, or the crazy guy that talks a mile a minute and you can't read his writing on a white board, or from the guy that promises to buy you a cup of coffee because we help him with his bonus), and you put the CORRECT amount of time in, you WILL pass the CPA.

I would have to agree with Suckitup. From what I've seen so far Becker is more than enough. In contrast to what I've read, I have not had an exam where the questions were not covered by Becker. I think if time is an issue, than purchasing a supplement means you are not utilizing Becker materials well as you should. Instead of spending the limited time you have reading something else, the better alternative is to review the multiple questions as much as you can before the exam.

My question for REG is more related to whether i need to read the book or can i get by with just doing multiple choice questions and SIM.

Here's my .02. We all have different learning styles and naturally each program plays to the strengths of one or two learning styles. Most candidates spend very little time evaluating and comparing programs (which is negligent at best) so you buy Becker because you heard your friends cousins neighbors CPA used Becker. It may be the right fit and if so it's all you need for sure. But if you realize it's not the best program and leaves you lacking then yeah you're going to need to supplement.
