I read many people using cpa excel or yaeger for far and pass.. Does anybody use Becker for far and pass on their first try?

I used Becker for FAR and passed on my first try. I also bought the flash cards and Final Review, which were both really helpful. Just like many people have said on the board, each review works depending on your learning style and how much time you put into each test. Is there a particular concern you have about Becker?

I used Becker but doesn't matter what you use because you need to know your accounting well.

I also passed FAR with Becker the first time around – I didn't use the flashcards but did use the final review (highly recommended). FAR was the test I definitely felt the worst about coming out if the testing center, yet I ended up with a 92. Go figure.

A really good understanding of accounting does help 😉

I have used Becker and Becker Final Review for all the parts I have taken and passed on the first try. Good luck!

It is the only test I passed on my first try… Although my passing grade is because of the professor who gave the review…

What does Final Review actually contain and how does it work? What do the lectures talk about? I have 3 weeks until my FAR test so I don't think I can use it in time, but maybe I can purchase it for my other 3 sections.

I used Becker self study for FAR and passed on first try. I didn't have the flash cards or final review. I think Becker is a really great program. I didn't pass Audit first try (it was my lack of motivation, not the review course) but I did two weeks later after going over what I then knew was going to be in the SIMS for sure. Overall, Becker, on its own with no supplemental material, seemed to be enough.

@dualmatrix – 3 weeks is plenty of time to do the Final Review. It is basically just a very condensed version of the normal course. There are lectures and homework for each of the 10 sections. Some additional tips are mentioned as well.

I passed using Becker, however I dont know if I would push Becker as the best review for FAR… it goes too in depth and left me wanting to give up instead of feeling confident in the material…

I used Becker all the way and passed FAR, REG & AUD on my first try. Now BEC took me three times, but always borderline scores, which I blame on me because I thought it was the easiest part and ended up fooling myself.

I used Becker for FAR and passed. I did use the Wiley book a bit also, mainly for more mcqs and sims.
