Hello Everyone!!

Is anyone else completely annoyed that Becker has just recently added additional supplemental questions and requires you to pay to unlock them?! I bought the entire Becker Review and the Final Review Product… Is it worth shelling out yet another $150 for more questions? Also, why would the make your overall homework participation % be calculated off the total including the questions so it doesn’t look like you have completed all 100% of the homework anymore?! Ugh!!

Hopeful this time around.... Back after a 2 year break!!

I saw this yesterday. I love Becker, but what a joke. As if the course didn't already cost an arm and a leg.

I saw that too and was pretty upset. Why buy those when you can buy the complete Wiley set for even less (from this website)?

In fact, if I find out anyone bought those questions and not Wiley's, I'll find you.

Seriously, if you want supplemental practice…get the WTB.

Thanks for the reminder Jeff!! I actually got the Wiley app for my iPhone!! Still though it makes me a little crazy that after all the money Becker has received from me they want more for some additional questions!! I'm sticking my extra cash on the Ninja Audio and Notes instead! Ugh it feels like false advertisement or something on their part!! It would be different too if they didn't average my % of homework completed with those extra questions too!! Sorry, enough of rant!!

Sorry to hear Wendy. That's ridiculous! I'm sure you'd be fine without them. They always released new questions during updates that I never was able to get around to, along with questions that were already included in the passmaster. But it was enough to pass. Good luck.

While I do not want to bash any review course, especially one that has helped MANY people pass, I walked into those exams having scored at least eighty percent on all of the homework. I have moved on to other methods that will hopefully, with some hard work, yield some positive results. Not every course works for every person, at least that is what I am learning.

I feel the same way about Becker. Personally I loved it for all the other sections, but for BEC I'm finding its much more ambiguous. I know the content is quite scattered across the board but the way they taught variance analysis and flexible budgeting was not the most thorough. I am still struggling. I would, as the others did, recommend getting WTB as opposed to the addit'l Becker questions. Even if you don't buy the whole test bank, one section is only 87 bucks (from Jeff).

Becker wants more money? GTFO!!!! Also, the % you are trying to achieve for the pass guarantee is not as worthwhile as they make it seem. They will make shell at another arm and a leg. Knowing them, they will probably make you repurchase the additional questions that you just bought.

I don't think this has anything to do with Becker being a good review course (I like Becker It's simply the fact that you think you are purchasing the “whole package” that you can presumably pass with alone and all of a sudden they release the additional questions and it makes you wonder whether you're missing out on something that's essential to passing the exam.

I too am somewhat disgruntled about this, so I called Becker today. They said the questions are simply additional supplemental questions. They started charging for them last Friday, which is odd, but re-assured me that they were not available for free prior to this. The lady I talked to kept stressing they are only supplemental, so I don't feel that those few questions are worth the price tag associated with them!

If they haven't already. I'm sure that Gearty or Olinto will implant a video just like the one for their Final Review how its crucial that you buy the additional questions.

No I didn't use WTB for Audit. Just Becker. I used WTB for FAR only because I wanted more MCQ's to practice. I think I will need a miracle to get through BEC.

Saw those locked questions last week upon completion of R-8. Needless to say, that I was rather incensed by this despite very much liking their lectures and product overall. Price does stink and this supplemental offering make it stink even higher to the mighty heavens!
