2017 Becker Changes

    I’m have a few questions about the new software. Has anyone been using it that could answer some questions? I’ve googled, I’ve sent questions to Becker, and I’ve looked for the users guide, all without success.

    I have used it for AUD so far. All is good except I can't get to mock exams and have gotten nowhere with Becker!

    Can I access the ebook outside of the lecture?
    How do I sync the downloaded version to the web version/iPhone?
    Are the outlines gone?
    The app is also giving me trouble:
    Even though I have AutoPlay selected, sometimes it works and sometimes I have to restart with each page.

    @Holly – I spoke with Becker and Yes the outlines are gone. All they have is the ability to turn on the red writing in the textbook. I also have issues with the auto play. When I do it in the computer (I use safari) it works, but on the phone the auto play never works and I had to download Chrome to be able to hear the lectures.

    The old version of Becker is still available online. You can still download the outlines before they shut down the website. I downloaded all of them for later. Don't forget, for the most part the content is the same so those outlines are still relevant but may be in a different order. I have the same issues as you do with the autoplay, there is no online book but you can just click on a lecture and scroll through as if it was a book without hearing the lecturers.

    I couldn't get those old outlines to print. Oh well. Now I want to know how to access the AICPA questions in the software like you used to be able to do.

    Did anyone figure out how to sync the downloaded Becker software to online? My mobile app won't catch up to the progress and I don't want to study offline if it won't sync properly.
