10 days before AUD.. I have been using Becker 2012, please help! Ninja notes?

    Hello all!

    I do not know why or how I did not think of buying new 2013 Becker for AUD or started looking for another 2013 study materials until this last minutes!! I really should have gotten this out of my mind sooo much earlier!! I have passed BEC and REG for the first try only with Becker 2012, so I thought I would be fine for AUD in Nov 2013 as well even though I knew there was some big changes!! >< I can’t really think right now….

    But I have been reading the changes regarding the Clarity Standards implemented since July on the forum, this scared the shit out of me now!! I am wondering any remedies at this point???? I have watched some brief videos about how the format and terminology of the audit reports have changed.. I wonder if anyone could give me some last minute advices??? Should I buy the AUD ninja notes? Is there any websites or study materials that I could purchase only regarding the Clarity Standard changes??

    I have found some updated notes on Becker websties for Chapter 1,3,5. I don’t know if this is sufficient?

    You didn't qualify for the free update from Becker? I started the live courses June 2012 and have the 2012 book. I was able to download the updated software online and the updated E-book. From my understanding everything is still testable from the 2012 book and the clarity standards are added in. The Ninja Notes has a Clarity Project section that goes over them. I took Audit in May and have to retake it so I added the 10 point combo and also got the 2013 Becker Final Review. Hopefully this is sufficient. If you get Ninja Notes you will get them instantly and you can also try seeing if you qualify to download the 2013 material.

    FightingCPA, I don't think those notes will help you much because they are UPDATES to Version B, which basically includes old Version A material that might still be tested, but was left out of Version B.

    You may be eligible for a free upgrade to Version B. As Jimps88 said, if you have a current AUD subscription, you can get the upgrade for free, which comes with an electronic version of the text so that you can review the material you are now currently missing.

    @Jimps68 and W_HAMILTON, thank you very much for the reply! So the Becker updates will only add on the updates to 2012? For some reason I don't think I am eligible for the updates.. I purchased it in early 2012… I'm just hoping there's gonna be not much impact on the exam 🙁 then probably restudy it again….

    I had Becker 2012 materials and they wouldn't let me have the free updates when I tried to get them last July because they said that they only offered the updates for a limited time and it was past that time. So, I bought the Ninja 10 point combo to go with my outdated Becker Materials and passed AUD with a 79! The ninja notes do a pretty good job of covering the updates.

    @Williamlee43: Do you think only NInja notes would help with the updated Clarified reports? I don't think I would want to spend that much more money nor I have time to go over the Ninjia videos! I also saw some people say that the impact would not be so big before the New Clarified SAS fully implemented! No I don't think I am qualified with the free becker updates anymore…

    @Determined CPA: I am sorry I freaked you out!!! It's so sloppy of me only remembering checking the changes last night!! I was sooo freaked out you don't understand… I really do not know what to do now at this point!! What are you gonna do? Are you gonna purchase the version B becker and start from there?

    And yes, I used Becker 2012 for BEC.. but I took BEC back in 2012 November… and I think Becker helped me prepare well for the two exams I have done.

    I am in Toronto.. and I only slept for not even 6 hours last night because of my panic! 🙁
