Hi everyone! As the title suggests, I’m in my last year of school in California and need some advice on picking my last class.
I need one more Accounting Subjects class, and the class that I want to take is “Fraud Examination” which is offered by the Accounting department. The issue is that I’m not sure whether or not it will count toward the Accounting Subjects units since the tip sheet lists:
• Accounting
• Auditing
• Taxation
• Financial Reporting
• Financial Statement Analysis
• External & Internal Reporting
as the acceptable Accounting Subject courses. I know Fraud Examination counts toward ethics, but I do not need any more ethics courses at the moment. In the case that it doesn’t count toward my Accounting Subjects, would “Ethics in Accounting” (another class I’ve taken) count toward the Accounting Subjects? I know it’s obviously an Ethics class and I intended to use it as such, but I feel like it could go either way from the word “Accounting” in the course title. If this is the case, I could take Fraud Examination anyway and use it for Ethics, while placing Ethics in Accounting under Accounting Subjects.
If anyone has had similar experiences, I would definitely appreciate some advice! I’ve called the CBA multiple times, and no one ever picks up… Thanks in advance for your help, everyone!
