NASBA Gateway 2.0 a huge failure

    Five business days ago,I paid a payment coupon for AUD. Gateway 2.0 says that I should receive an NTS within four business days. To date, no NTS. Yesterday, I received an email that a payment coupon is available for another section for me to pay. When I log into the portal, there is no pending payment. I called NASBA about 6 times yesterday and after waiting for about 20 – 30 mins each time, the rep transfers me to a coordinator who never answers her phone. I left her 3 voicemails and 2 emails to no avail. I need to schedule these exams before April 23 when my BEC expires. Is anyone else having similar issues?

    You will not “receive” an NTS, you will receive an email that says your NTS is available to be downloaded from the GW 2.0 Portal site. Email your state coordinator and they can check the status.

    I've been checking the GW portal about 20 times each day to see if either the NTS for the already paid section is there or a payment coupon for the new part, but neither is available. Illinois is not represented by a coordinator at NASBA and I emailed the designated person I was instructed to by NASBA rep 3 times, but so far no reply. Thanks for your suggestion and reply though!

    Well, since it is a non-cpaes state, there is still a coordinator who handles Illinois problems. Like verifying the Jur IDs for the “amazing”….. GW launch. Email their general email address. Maybe someone else there can process a request.

    ‘Lo and behold', about 30 mins ago and after 4 emails to NASBA, a payment coupon appeared in the pending payments section of the portal. Now waiting on 2 NTS. One from a week ago and one from today which will not be available for at least 4 business days. What a pain! When this was done through ILBOE, turnaround was about 24 – 48 hours! No calls, no emails, no headaches!

    Man, some of you guys just have zero tolerance for anything lol. Maybe our owner was finally right about something (“underpromise, overdeliver”).

    There was nothing magical that happened with the ILBOE that made the process easier prior to the GW 2.0 Launch. The only thing that changed between then and now is the new GW 2.0, yea it has some crazy problems. But the process never changed. You applied with ILBOE, they sent an registration to the GW system, the GW system issued a payment coupon, you paid the coupon through the GW system… Same process, different system the GW 2.0. You just didnt know it was the GW system because there was no login telling you it was GW, but it was still GW. When you would review your advisory scores, it was the GW system. When NTS's / score notices were issued, that was through the GW system. No telling how much testing they went through with the 2.0, but apparently not enough with the issues that have been reported.
