I know a few on here who would go through their review once or twice, and then switch to Ninja for final review to play the trending game (which worked for them). I tried to cram Ninja in 12 days last time (hit review phase) and missed it by 3 points. I am about 75% done with another test bank that I have been on since last Tuesday, and I have about 18 days left. Is it better to stay the course and focus on reps, or to mix it up? Just wanted to know everybody’s thoughts and opinions. Thanks!

IMHO stick with one test bank for each retake. If your first take you used Ninja, and you did not pass, second time you should use another TB like Gleim, and vice versa. If its the third retake, I would debate whether I go back to my first test bank or purchase a new one (Wiley test bank for example). @Mtaylo24 are you taking notes of the questions that you get wrong? If you are hitting review phase and you are learning from every single mistake, then you should be able to knock the test out of the park.

Thanks, I have notes for days, i think my error last time (besides cramming), was not reviewing the basics before jumping into ninja. Ninja just has a crazy BEC philosophy imho, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just not good for learning. I did Gleim the first time (Q2) then dropped it to learn the Wiley way my final week, instead of staying the course, which didn't work out to well, got me 71. I have now been through Gleim, Wiley, Ninja, and almost Becker.

The method I have used is going through all lectures in Wiley CPA, and done their multiple choices in each chapter. Then, I would do Ninja MCQ to tie all knots together until I have answered all questions correctly and start scoring 80-90% consistently on sets of 30 random questions. I also go study and go into prometrics with the mentality of wanting to score above 90, I am pretty sure that has helped me too.

I'm on Reg now, so bumping now that I am wrapping up my first lap of Gleim's TB (I'm on chapter 20 of 20). I test on 11/11 (16 days). I feel ok about tax, but shaky on estate and BLAW. I'm not sure if I should repeat Gleim (2,600 questions), switch to Ninja (1,900 questions), or do both. Last time I studied a little Gleim, mostly Ninja and got a 74.

Well I failed FAR twice (waiting for AUD score, 11/04).

Studying for REG right now and this time what I am doing different is going through all MCQ from Wiley CPAexcel while studying and then supplement with NINJA MCQ 2 weeks before the exam from scratch. Is this a good idea? I know most of the test banks will have same questions.

@kanwal78, a few people on these boards have had success with that strategy. We are kind of thinking the same thing, I figured I'd ask since I am approaching final review. Last time I bs'ed w/ Gleim for about 10 days and went beast mode w/ Ninja for 11. It got me close.

The questions are kind of the same, but Ninja has a different philosophy and mixes them up pretty good.
