I'm 32, but quite a music buff. I like music of all kinds. I was aware that Karen Carpenter was dead. I believe she had an eating disorder or something, but I can assure you that I didn't get that information from a Lifetime Movie (yes I did).
Anyway, James Taylor is good stuff, but please don't tell me you listened to the Lettermen. Those nerds are more annoying that Neville and The Carpenters combined.
Are you familiar with the Fendermen? That's great oldies right there. Their version of Mule Skinner Blues is top drawer for sure.

The tight rolled jeans mixed with patterned sweaters that were 3 times too big…I don't understand why that fashion statement didn't stick? Of course for some, it did.
