Do you think you would give up after failing 7 times especially after getting in the 70s each time? See how I overcame failing 7 times to become a successful senior associate at a big four firm!

Where did you go to school? Did you think that your school didn't prepare you well enough? I don't really get how you can get a “great GPA”, and then follow those same study habits which got you that great GPA and not be able to succeed at the exam. I had a good GPA (3.6), but I wouldn't call it great. I was, at best, only in the middle of my accounting class. Yet, with the same study habits I used in school, I've been passing and passing extremely comfortably (mid to high-90s) all within a month and a half period. Obviously, I'm not against the fact that you didn't pass immediately. In fact, I think it's great that you finally passed. Congrats! I just don't get the whole point of your spiel about how you're a really smart guy and have a great GPA.

Cardinal he's advertising his website which I imagine he hopes will share in some of the success Jeff had found with A71. I find it disturbing that he's launched an ad campaign here…….just trying to give himself some credibility I guess.

@Mrs 300 – LOL. That was funny. I hadnt planned that, but I guess its dead on. I am no longer having technical difficulties with Minimorty so I switched back. I am also making an effort to be less blunt, although I still want to be direct with my comments. We'll see how everything goes. So far, so good.

That's unfortunate Jeff, because he has HIGHLIGHTERS in his store. If only A71 sold those…..

Thanks for the feedback! I just started the site about 2 weeks ago so hence the lack of posts on the forum and the rough content… Give me a couple years. My point was that not everyone with a decent GPA is going to pass the CPA the first time through. My study habits in college did not translate to the CPA just because of the magnitude of the material that was required to be memorized. Some people also test better than others. I found that I often second guessed myself on the MCQ. I appreciate your guys direct feedback and will do my best improve my site.

@TheCPAguide – In case we weren't clear enough, posting links to your site on this site is a total D-bag move.

@Jeff – You should remove the links, but let his posts remain so I can continue to ridicule him. 🙂

Another comment for this guy. I know you're going for the crowd who has failed the CPA exam before, but why would someone listen to your advice when even after failing 7 times, your passing scores were only marginally passing scores (mostly only within 2 or 3 points of passing)? While it's great that you finally passed, it clearly shows you didn't really learn much / improve much on your past failures. Hence, making your advice less valuable than it would otherwise have been.
