I remember, vaguely, a long time ago (four years ago)…I took a class on this. The ONLY thing I remember is LITERALLY begging for a passing grade after taking the final. I hate this subject with a FIERY burning passion. I wish to destroy it with the force of 10,000 suns, and one more sun for good measure. I would rather spring clean the hell out of my house than re-learn about funds, grants, and whatever the hell else is in this section. May the seven gods be with those who are subject to the torture that is Government/NFP accounting.

Well in light of my sessions to come this weekend, I’m hoping to put in 16 hours this weekend JUST for this lovely section of accounting. Anyone else putting in serious hours this weekend?

I'm in for a BEC Power Weekend, minimum goal is to get through remaining new material (COSO, Risk, Performance Measurements, Budget), ideal goal is to also get a good understanding of at least 2-3 study units I'm scoring low on.

I'm on the go this weekend, so I have to “study” on my cell phone. I have my flashcards on an app and I'm using Gleim instead of Ninja because it's more mobile friendly. Halfway through my first round of Ninja mcq…hope to hit it hard tomorrow when I get home.

Took off last weekend as I took the AUD so I’m in for this weekend! I’m going to start on individual taxation (becker R1 and R2). Happy studying!

And I'm in it to win it this weekend. I will finish going over multiple choice twice this weekend. As I finish each chapter again I take progress tests. I'm averaging about 93% on Becker. Even though that's a decent score, I feel there's always something I don't know. This is incredibly frustrating. Also I'm finding that the perspective you take on questions means the world to finding the right answer. Slowing down and really thinking about what the question is asking is something I struggle with. But I learn through failure, so good luck to anyone else who also learns through failure!

I'm in! Two more weekends before I take AUD. I'm doing pretty well on MCQs (haven't completed many yet admittedly). I really hope that's not giving me false hope.

AUD seems to be the test people either really struggle to pass or it's the one they score near 99, like there's not much in between. I hope I score a 99 🙂

Finishing up Audit Chapter 6 this weekend so I can start reviewing on Monday. Hopefully, one week will be enough for review.

9-4 today with a 45 minute lunch break. I made pretty good progress with Sales & Secured Transactions. I have this chapter and Debtor Creditor Relationships remaining. Then I can start review. Test is on the 31st. Yikes!

How's it going for everyone? I hope better than last weekend. It seemed many of us had some trouble.

@SchruteBeet: I know what you mean. I'll have about a week for review also. A little unnerving, but I think if we only have a few muddy topics, a week should be sufficient. You are almost finished! That's really exciting.

Not a bad day here, after being in a week-long study slump, I was finally able to get back into the swing of things. Made it through Chapter 5 of 7 of BEC (Roger). Hope I can get Chapter 6 done later tonight leaving Chapter 7 for tomorrow. After that, the note-taking/MCQs begin.

At this rate, I'm throwing a hail mary, hoping for a 76 come August.

Today, I am just finishing up Audit's last chapter. I am on a bit of a time crunch so I am just focusing on reading this last chapter and taking notes. I will circle back on the MCQ's during my review session. Also, I am flying out to a client today (again) so I am planning on getting most of my studying done on the go!

Finishing up AUD 6 today then beginning my 2 week review! A successful power weekend continues. Really hoping to pass audit this go around. SIMS / MCQ non-stop until exam day.
