I remember, vaguely, a long time ago (four years ago)…I took a class on this. The ONLY thing I remember is LITERALLY begging for a passing grade after taking the final. I hate this subject with a FIERY burning passion. I wish to destroy it with the force of 10,000 suns, and one more sun for good measure. I would rather spring clean the hell out of my house than re-learn about funds, grants, and whatever the hell else is in this section. May the seven gods be with those who are subject to the torture that is Government/NFP accounting.

Well in light of my sessions to come this weekend, I’m hoping to put in 16 hours this weekend JUST for this lovely section of accounting. Anyone else putting in serious hours this weekend?

Yes, indeed! Finished Corporations a day ahead of schedule. I'll dive into Contracts this weekend. Dare I hope it's marginally interesting? Anyway, I'm on it like a job.

I'm trying to finish up my review of AUD before I start Ninja MCQs for the next two weeks before my test on 5/22. However, I CANNOT concentrate today for anything. I need Ritalin stat. Thank God last weekend was a success. I did not get done during the week what I needed to get done.

I'm really hoping AUD is not the end of me…

Not the greatest of weekends for me. I've been moderately reading the Roger book for BEC (Is it unusual that I'd rather be studying for FAR? BEC is just so dry to this point. I need to crunch numbers!). I'll have to get through the rest of the book and re-write my notes within the next 14 days to give me enough time to get through all the NINJA MCQs. I hope everyone else has been more productive than I have been!

I had a really hard time this weekend, too. Contracts are impossible. I worked them like a job, performed poorly and still have one more SIM before I'm finished. My brain hurts. And on that note, my Power Weekend has come to a close. (Okay, maybe I'll finish the last SIM after I've stared into space for an hour or so.)

Trash day of studying for me as well. Only 75 Ninjas and 40 Gleims. I'm off tomorrow, and workday/weekend distractions should be gone so I really plan to step it up.

I didn't get through as much as I wanted this weekend, I was mostly just working through the cost accounting study units. The MCQs/SIMs were a lot tougher than the other units I've gone through so far, so I spent some more time there before moving on. I'm still not where I want to be and need to spend more time on cost accounting, but I started moving on to corp capital structure/working capital tonight as my goal is to have at least gone through all the material by Weds 5/10. Will be back next weekend for an MCQ/SIM Power Weekend!
