If you are studying with Yaegar, what are you doing to get ready for the exam? I am in M5 currently. I am trying to review all the multiple questions and work them twice, so I get a better feel of how the exam can trick me. I have taken it twice using Bisk (66,68). Not going against Bisk, but I think this is a week area for me since I am all tax. I am still using my Bisk for some topics, because they reinforce Yeagar. I will be taking the exam at the end of October. I am trying so hard this time to learn all the reports and what I am doing in each area of the audit! Feel free to leave feedback – it is encouraging.

I used Yeagar for Aud and did not find it helped at all. I go more from reading Wiley and just doing the questions. I used Yeagar for all 4 sections and found the other reviews very helpful – but wished I had not paid for the AUD one.

    CPA2b,

What was the problem with Yeager AUD? Why didn't it help you?

I am taking AUD next friday. It is my 4th and final section, and I have used Yeager Home Study and cram for all sections, passing each part. I understand why some may not like Yeager's AUD review. To be honest, I was unsure about it for a while. Gary Bulmash has a little different teaching style than Cindy or Phil, and to be honest he's not the most exciting teacher in the world. However, i have grown to appreciate his teaching over the last couple of weeks. He is obviously very knowledgeable about auditing. I actually googled him and he taught at the University level for quite some, and I believe I read where he has actually written CPA exam questions in the past. So I really think he knows how to get people through the exam. In the past 3 parts with Yeager, I understood what the instructors were teaching and mastered the MCQs that were assigned. Having done that I did just fine on the exam. So I am fully confident that with God's help I will do fine on the auditing exam using Yeager.

Well, I am writing because I feel discouraged. I really felt better about the exam this time. I got a 71 on my AUD score. My score process has been 68,66, and 71. Maybe next time. I do know the Yaegar home review helped, but maybe I need another round to try again. I take BEC again on the 30th of November and I guess I will retake AUD in January.

rhiania80, I am in the same boat as you as I have failed audit 3 times. I recently received a 71 on my Audit section and want to retake the section in January. I have been using Becker, but I am feeling frustrated. What review courses have you used?

I used Bisk the first two times and this past October I used Yaegar. I do know that I felt more prepared this past time with Yaegar, but I will have to try again. I have never had to take a section 4 times. I am a little embarrassed, but I just have to continue to try. I have passed REG and FAR. I am retaking BEC for the third time November 30th. I used Bisk the first two times and using Yaegar this time. Have you passed all parts except AUD? I am feeling under the weather and sick wondering if I will fail again. My first part expires in May 2010, but I really only have January because tax season is right around the corner. Have you progressed with your scores?

I have passed all of the other sections except for Audit and can agree on feeling embarassed about failing it three times. I know other people who seem to have no problem with the section. I will probably be trying Yaeger. I have never felt more like a complete failure than when I called Becker today to get advice. I know there is one more opportunity for me to take it before tax season, and I am trying to find the best review course to get me over the hump.
